The  Carnegie Museum of Natural History is a beautiful place to have your wedding reception.   I’ve photographed Carnegie Music Hall many times, and the majesticness of the amazing architecture never ceases to amaze me.

There’s a naked dog in my office… (Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers)

Most days, I sit in my office all by my lonesome and work.  I enjoy the peace and quiet.  The only time I have to get out of my chair is when I have to take “someone” to the bathroom.  No, not Tristan.  He usually makes it there on his own, with no help at all (most of the time).

This is my four-legged co-worker, Peggy:

As you can see, Peggy is “naked” (no collar).  Peggy sits in her cat bed most days, and enjoys looking out the window for the UPS man or the kids getting off the school bus.  The bottom two inches of all our first floor windows are covered in dog snot.

I have a bag full of dog clothes for Peg, but I recently ordered a costume that blows the rest out of the water.  Stay tuned……….

MELISSA & WILL (Heinz Chapel and Oakmont Country Club Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers)

I have always loved winter weddings…..  Winter here in Pittsburgh is usually gloomy and overcast with clouds, which means PERFECT photography weather!  Even though it was bitterly cold outside, we still had great light to work with!  We started off at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, where Melissa got ready.  We did all of Melissa’s portraits there, but what she really wanted, was her portrait on the grand staircase in the lobby (which turned out beautifully!).  Heinz Chapel was nice and cozy during Melissa and Will’s ceremony, and the gorgeous adornments at the Oakmont Country Club were absolutely perfect!  Many thanks go to my husband and my good friend, Katia Forero for helping me that day!  Here are my favorite shots…..
