VANESSA & J.GREG’S WEDDING AT ST. MATTHEW’S LUTHERAN CHURCH AND RECEPTION AT OLD WORLD WISCONSIN (Milwaukee Wedding Photographers)

I have been waiting SO LONG for Vanessa and J.Greg’s wedding! Â And it was TOTALLY worth the wait!!

Vanessa and J.Greg were married at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, WI (Vanessa’s hometown). Â Their beautiful barn reception was held at Old World Wisconsin, where the mosquitoes apparently mean business (we had bites where no one should EVER be bitten!!)

Vanessa is a wonderful harpist who loves yoga and her doggies, and her husband J.Greg just won a gig with The United States Army Field Band….he’s an awesome horn player.

Here are some of my favorite moments from their day:

J.Greg arranged (for the organ) the Langsam of Mahler’s Third Symphony for Vanessa’s processional. Â It made it so meaningful and gave me goosebumps when I saw her appear in the doorway with her father! Â You can hear the LangsamÂ here.

MELINDA & RYAN’S WEDDING AT ST. ALPHONSUS AND RECEPTION AT THE SYRIA MOSQUE (Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers)

What a lovely day it was for Melinda and Ryan’s wedding. Â The summer sky perfectly matched the light turquoise bridesmaid dresses. Â They were married at St. Alphonsus in Springdale. Â Their beautiful and incredibly detailed reception was held at the Syria Mosque in Cheswick. Â Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:

The flowers at this wedding were INCREDIBLE!!! Â Ken from Flowers in the Attic did an amazing job!!!

The Syria Mosque has a lot of opportunities for wedding portraiture…..

My dear friend, Anita Manfred made both the bride’s AND the bridesmaids’ jewelry! Â I’m in love with everything she creates!!

Melinda picked such beautiful summery colors for her wedding. Â I love the tangerine jewelry….such a great contrast next to the dresses!

The reception space was immaculately decorated. Â I was LOVING it!

Â There were SO MANY little details at this wedding!!! Â Everything was so beautifully coordinated.

There were SO MANY sweets at this wedding…..they even thought of their guests who had to eat gluten-free food!!! Â WOW!

WEDDING RECEPTIONS – THE MANSION AT MAPLE HEIGHTS HAS A COOL SECRET!! (Mansion at Maple Heights Wedding Photographer Pittsburgh)

The Mansion at Maple Heights is an absolutely *lovely* location for your wedding or your wedding reception. Â Upon my arrival the first time I was there, Â I was in awe of the gorgeous craftsmanship of the wood (which is basically everywhere you look!). Â The entryway is stunning with a staircase that wraps around up to the second floor.

Each room within the mansion is used for different things. Â In this case, they were used for a place where guests could congregate during cocktail hour:

As I’m walking around, I hear Tristan in the library shouting for me to come and see something. Â Now, I know what you’re thinking….Tristan….in a LIBRARY?! Â Yes, I agree. Â Totally crazy. Â But there he was, telling me that I needed to see something in one of the cabinets…..

He opens the cabinet so I can get a closer look…..

This mansion was built in 1903. Â It has numerous unique nooks and crannies. Â It just so happened that Tristan found one. Â This guy has a nose like a bloodhound when it comes to alcohol. Â Turns out, during Prohibition, the owner of the house made little hiding spots for his alcohol, making it a speakeasy! Â Cool!

This makes Tristan VERY happy. Â HAHAHAHAHA!

I leave Tristan alone and come back to find him in a different room. Â Look how suspicious he looks…..

He’s saying “What?! Â I didn’t do anything!” Â Turns out, he found another hiding spot! Â HAHA!!!!!

He’s so proud of himself. Â 🙂

JEN & JASON – E-SESSION PREVIEW (Phipps Conservatory Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers)

Jen and Jason were in from Philadelphia to do some wedding planning, and we got together to take some photos at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens! Â Here is a little preview…..it looks like it was raining, but we just had some awesome cloud cover that day!

CARA & JEREMY’S WEDDING AT ST. MICHAEL’S PARISH AND RECEPTION AT THE WHEELING ARTISAN CENTER (WHEELING WEST VIRGINIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS)

Cara and Jeremy had a gorgeous pink, white, and silver wedding at St. Michael’s Parish in Wheeling, WV. Â Their impeccably radiant and sparkly pink reception was held at the Wheeling Artisan Center at River City. Â Both Cara and Jeremy are graduates of West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV….. my alma mater! (which means they are extra cool!)
