Annie and David had a beautiful rainy outdoor late afternoon wedding ceremony in May at the National Aviary.  The sprinkling of rain didn’t dampen Annie and David’s spirits … in fact, they didn’t care one bit!  They decided to do a first look at Point State Park, so we got all of the portraiture out of the way before the ceremony and reception (and the rain!).

We started the day at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, which made our commute to Point State Park pretty non-existent!…

David got dressed in a room right across the hallway from Annie…

Believe it or not, finding a semi-private place in Point State Park for their first look wasn’t hard at all!

Annie crafted her own bouquet!  Doesn’t she make a lovely bride?!

Oh David.  You are my people.

So many flowers, bushes, and trees were in bloom at the Point…

Annie and David’s dog, Oliver made an appearance!  Oh boy, was he ADORABLE.

He was such a good boy during photos!

After portraits, we headed over to the Aviary to get ready for the ceremony.

David and Annie had some special choreography planned for their walk down the aisle.  Their mothers accompanied them, and they both walked around the perimeter of where their guests were seated, and met under the chuppah at the top of the aisle.  It was pretty cool idea!

I had so many favorite parts of David and Annie’s day, but this part was SO awesome…..I love how the penguin posed for a photo!

They touched a penguin, guys!!!  THEY TOUCHED A REAL, LIVE PENGUIN!!!!

This is the closest I got to a penguin.  Do you like the shirt I chose to wear for this wedding? HAHAHA!

I’m pretty sure this penguin’s name was Happy.  Look how handsome he is!

Such a beautiful room for a wedding reception…

Annie and David were fantastic dancers!  I just wanted to watch and enjoy them moment as they danced around their guests!

What a day it was!!  Annie and David, your wedding was AWESOME!!!!  Thank you for having me along for the ride!!!  I love you both!!
