Shannon and Tyler had a gorgeous Pittsburgh day for their wedding at St. Bernard Church and the wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Golf Club.

I started the day with Shannon as she got ready at her parents’ house…

It was overcast that afternoon, which made for beautiful light for Shannon’s portraits….

Everything about St. Bernard’s in Mt. Lebanon is fantastic….from the gorgeous architecture to the awesome and friendly church ladies!

Shannon chose a great spot for their portraits….the colorful graffiti made a great backdrop!

LOVE the Pittsburgh Golf Club. Â It’s a beautiful location, tucked away right next to Carnegie Mellon University…

For me, reception photos are SO much fun to capture….everyone is letting loose and having a good time…

Shadyside Presbyterian Church Wedding Ceremony Photos

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Sam and Andy….through a crack in the door…. as they got married. Â In fact, that’s why they came to me….because they knew I’ve done it a few times before! Â Challenges like this one are ALWAYS accepted!!!

Sam and her bridesmaids had a blast as they got ready before the ceremony. Â My friend, Valarie Panei did Sam’s makeup!!

Sam’s mom and grandmother helped her get dressed…

It literally takes guys 10-15 mins to get ready, which is why they can do cool stuff like this before the wedding….

Sam and Andy’s wedding reception was at the always lovely, Fox Chapel Golf Club…

Pittsburgh Engagement Photos

It was a beautiful early fall day when Natalie and Andrew came to town from Minnesota for their engagement session on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.

Our first stop was a big one….the balcony of the Cathedral of Learning! Â I can’t say I wasn’t scared when taking these photos. Â haha!!

Natalie is an avid reader, while Andrew’s job is pretty much football 24/7,Â so they decided to incorporate both into their session!

Hotel Monaco Wedding Photos

When I walked into Christina’s room on the morning of her wedding, she looked absolutely amazing…. she was standing there in a robe and hadn’t even had her hair done yet! Â But it didn’t matter because excitement and happiness just radiated from her! Â It was then I knew it was going to be an AMAZING day for their wedding at Hotel Monaco in Downtown Pittsburgh.

It was a lovely day for Drea and Kevin’s wedding at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Oakland, and their wedding reception at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh.

There were SO many gorgeous details, and so many awesome moments, that it was hard to limit it to a certain amount of photos! Â So, here are a “few” of my favorites!

What a lovely day it was for Deborah and Corey! Â They were married at Heinz Memorial Chapel and celebrated afterwards at Fox Chapel Golf Club.

We started the day at the Mansions on Fifth, where both Deborah and Corey got ready…

I love seeing “bride” on Starbucks cups! It’s the one day they can have that written on there!

Jen and Bill had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe….on a very rainy day, I might add!

Jen chose a beautiful palette of purples and pinks for her wedding. Â Her attention to detail was amazing, all the way down to the custom calligraphy on the place cards for each individual guest.

Small Intimate Weddings at Home in Pittsburgh

Maki and David were married in their parents’ backyard at their home in the Historic Schenley Farms neighborhoodÂ of Oakland.

It was really hard to take a bad photo of this home!

Beautifully decorated tables were set up throughout the house…

A beautiful tent was provided by Party Savvy…

Didn’t want to get water spots on the dress!….

Maki made a gorgeous bride…

My string quartet, Hot Metal Strings, provided the ceremony music!

After their ceremony, everyone came inside to toast the bride and groom, and then eat dinner.

Wedding Receptions at the Twentieth Century Club

Stephanie and Ryan had a beautiful Catholic Mass at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland, officiated by numerous priests andÂ Bishop Zubik! Â The roar of the crowd as they were announced was SO loud! The joyfulÂ celebration continued into the night at the Twentieth Century Club, right down the street from the cathedral.
